Yogurts represent a good source of probiotics. These probiotics assits digestion, bringing relief to those who suffer from diarrhea, and lactose intolerance. Breast milk has substances named prebiotics, which are fibers that our bodies cannot digest, but that the friendly bacteria in our guts feed on to grow and to live. You can supplement probiotics to the babies, who are formula- fed, but it is not necessary to do so.

Babies can eat yogurts if they are old enough to eat solid food. Giving babies “good” bacteria can help you with their tummy problems, such as gas, abdominal discomfort, annoying fussing and subsequently with crying.
